Understand free invitees and paid members
Sharing a selected note is different from joining a managed workspace.
Selected-note collaboration starts with Personal
A Personal subscriber can invite other people into selected notes for live collaboration. Invitees can participate with a free account. They do not need a separate paid subscription merely to accept that invitation.
A managed workspace is a different scope
Team adds a shared organizational home, pooled capacity and team organization. Business adds identity and administrative controls. Becoming a paid member must show its commercial effect before the action is confirmed.
Check the invitation before accepting
Look at the intended identity, destination and role. Switch accounts when the invitation belongs to a different identity; do not merge accounts just because they share a familiar email address. Membership success and the native device receiving usable note keys are separate steps.
Keep personal notes personal
A personal area and business workspaces live side by side within an account. Workspace membership does not automatically expose your personal notes. Revoking future access cannot retract copies a person already received.
