Personal space, workspaces and separate accounts

Know which identity you are using and which resource you are changing.

One account, several places to work

Your personal area and business workspaces coexist side by side. Opening a workspace does not set a global active-workspace mode or change the meaning of Billing, Security or Support elsewhere.

A different account is a different identity

The account control switches among separately authenticated identities. Keys, credentials, cached data and drafts need to remain isolated. Do not carry a pending payment or destructive action into another identity.

Check the target at confirmation

Every consequential action should name the account and resource involved. A personal subscription and a business membership do not automatically replace or credit each other. Billing, people administration, note access and case access are separate permissions.

Leave without changing unrelated work

Leaving a workspace does not delete your personal account. Removing an account from a device is different from canceling renewal or deleting a service identity. Check for unsynchronized local work before removing local credentials or data.
