Business data and providers
Understand the organizational questions behind a shared workspace.
At a glance
Business adds governance. It does not introduce a stronger encryption tier or establish a certification, service-level agreement or completed audit.
Define the processing role
Each purpose and contract needs a verified operator and applicable processing role. A DPA, transfer document or provider disclosure belongs in the offering when the reviewed arrangement warrants it. A standard Business plan and a negotiated contract may have different documentation.
Keep product and organization scope clear
The product’s protected-content boundary, account metadata, support operations and shared organizational controls should be described separately. An organizational administrator does not receive blanket access to a person’s private notes or support cases.
Use a verified provider inventory
The final inventory needs actual legal names, service purposes, relevant data categories and any required location or transfer information. The requirement to use Pistachio does not justify hiding underlying processing. No supplier list or residency promise is invented in this draft.
Review evidence in its actual scope
A security questionnaire, compliance plan or intended audit is not a certification. Any published report must identify the product and organization covered, dates, limitations and current status. No SOC 2 badge, audit claim or independent validation has been established here.
Ask about your organization’s needs
Use the business inquiry route for documentation, negotiated terms or contracted support. The request does not require an Enterprise purchase. Personal-data requests belong in the separate privacy route; suspected vulnerabilities belong in restricted security intake.
