Resolve a payment or entitlement problem

A saved payment method, a paid invoice and restored access are different states.

Identify the purchase

Confirm the Notes identity, personal or workspace scope, and actual biller. Compare the purchase record with the entitlement shown for that scope. Avoid buying another subscription to solve an unexplained missing entitlement.

Check what has completed

A payment-method update does not mean an outstanding invoice has been paid. A successful charge may still be awaiting entitlement activation. Look for the observed payment state, the operation reference and the next supported action.

Handle an uncertain result once

If a request times out after confirmation, refresh its status before trying to pay again. Keep the same purchase or operation reference so support can investigate the original attempt. Do not submit card numbers, security codes, account credentials or bank details in a support message.

Get help with the mismatch

Tell support the billing scope, biller, approximate time and safe transaction reference. Describe whether the problem is a missing invoice, an unexpected duplicate or access that has not updated. A provider return page by itself is not proof of payment.
